Hey, did you hear about Gurucharan Singh, the actor who played Roshan Singh Sodhi in ‘Taarak Mehta ka Ulta Chashma’?
He was missing for a few weeks but has finally returned home.
I read all about it on IndiaToday.in and thought I’d share the story with you.
So, Gurucharan had been missing since April 22, and it turns out he left for a religious journey, deciding to step away from worldly life for a while.
The Delhi Police even filed a kidnapping case and were actively searching for him.
Imagine the relief when he finally returned!
During his time away, Gurucharan visited several Gurudwaras in cities like Amritsar and Ludhiana.
After some soul-searching, he realized he needed to come back home. It’s quite a story, right?
On the day he went missing, he was supposed to catch a flight to Mumbai from Delhi but never boarded.
His phone was active until April 24, and police investigations showed multiple transactions during that time.
There was even CCTV footage of him walking with a bag on his back, which must have been quite a clue for the investigators.
His father, Hargit Singh, was understandably worried and filed a missing complaint on April 26.
The police lodged an FIR under Section 365 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), which deals with kidnapping or abduction with intent to secretly and wrongfully confine a person.
Interestingly, the police found out that Gurucharan was going through some financial troubles and had several loans and dues.
He’s also a follower of a meditation sect and has shown interest in going to the Himalayas for meditation.
This whole incident made me think about how important it is to take care of our mental and spiritual health and also to stay connected with our loved ones.
It’s easy to get overwhelmed, but finding a balance is key.
Anyway, I’m glad he’s back home safe and sound.
Let’s remember to check in on each other, especially when things get tough.
