My journey began when I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Management Studies, specializing in Marketing, in 2010.
Living in Dombivli, a small city, the 4-hour daily commute to Mumbai wasn’t for me.
Most marketing jobs available in my area (Thane) were in sales, but as an introvert, these roles and interviews were challenging.
In 2010, I found a work-from-home writing opportunity with an educational website.
Though the pay was minimal, it was enough to support my ailing father.
I had dreams of further education and wanted to marry only when the time was right.
By 2012, I had earned my Master’s degree in Business Management.
My first startup job, from 2010 to 2015, didn’t improve my financial situation much, but it taught me the basics of SEO, social media marketing, and the importance of quality content.
After my father’s passing in 2013, I focused on content writing, finding it a source of personal healing.
I completed various postgraduate diplomas but realized that writing was my true strength.
By 2016, I knew that content creation was my calling.
Between 2016 and 2020, I worked for EdTech and media startups, earning more and gaining the means to have an arranged marriage.
I transitioned from a shy girl to a traditional Tamil Brahmin wife, embracing my roots and learning more about Indian culture and spirituality.
With my husband’s support, I overcame past negative experiences and gained confidence.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I earned certificates in various fields like Holistic Aging and Event Management, leading me to start my own writing business in 2021, named “Preethi Umashankar Iyer Creations.”
In 2022, I established WiseOm.co.in to share my accumulated knowledge.
I set up GoodAIContent.co.in in February 2024 to create a platform that leverages advanced AI technology to produce insightful and engaging written content.
Writing in simple English has helped me connect with clients and build trust over my 14-year career.
I am grateful to all who have supported me on this journey and look forward to continuing to grow and learn in the coming years.
